This is the second painting in a series of three 1960's inspired mod, pop art paintings. This is a bright, cheerful and whimsical painting that would bring cheer to any room in a home, office, reception area, boutique, motel, hotel, etc. The image looks wonderful on a duvet cover, throw pillow, shower curtain, tote bag, coffee mug, etc.
I was born and raised in Flin Flon, a small city in northern Manitoba, Canada. I have resided in various parts of Canada as well as spending fours years in Brisbane, Australia. I have only recently relocated/retired in Keremeos, British Columbian, Canada (May 2014) and have been truly inspired by the incredible beauty of the surroundings as well as the wonderful people who inhabit the Similkameen Valley. I have gone from the black and white world of banking, to a world of colour. I feel so at home and know that at this stage in my life, this is where I need to be.
